One of those days/ Is it any good?

Lack of inspiration. 
Lack of motivation really.

Yep, its one of those days when you don't feel like getting up out of bed, and doing anything.
Let alone trying to write.

Lucy, who is usually ready to start the day at 4:00 in the morning, agreed with me for once.

Needless to say, I did get up, and started the day, but it took me a bit to get going.
Staying up till midnight trying to get a synopsis down to four paragraphs instead of nine is quite the experience. 
Writing a synopsis is one of those moments where you're like, "Yah! I can't believe that I am writing one to get ready to send out!", and then you're like, "I just wrote a novel and I have to get it down to a couple paragraphs."         

Maybe if I use really small font....

So yes! I am starting.  I'm taking that first step.
Well, I guess writing the book was the first step, but the first step to having my work known to someone else, and having it becoming something.

Waiting for something is hard, but waiting for something and not knowing the outcome is harder.  (I don't know if that's a famous quote or not, but its a pretty good one if I say so myself.)
Because its true!
The agent I queried could take to 6-8 weeks to reply, and they might not even. 
Being busy is probably what is keeping me from checking my mail every minute of the day.

Because I want to know...

Is it any good or not?

Every one wants to know the answer to that question some time in their life. 
A modification to the question, but still along the same lines. 

And usually its a question that we ask others. 

Why not ourselves, writers?

We wrote the thing.  We know every single action, place, person, and what that person is feeling and going through. We even know that person's history even though we don't put it clearly in the book.

And yet...

We have a hard time convincing ourselves that what we have written is good.

Some can look at their work and say without a doubt,"Yes what I have written is good."  If you are like me you look at you're work and say, "Yes, this is good." 
A second later.  
"Is it though?"

I'm really hoping so.
