Well, this is the end. I hope you enjoyed it. The things I would do differently is probably make the chapters shorter, and add more to the book. So yeah...
I'm thinking what I'm going to do is wait a bit before I do anymore blogging of my books. Perhaps do some in between posts, then do the synopsis's of a couple of my books and have a voting of which one to do next.
WEEKS LATER……………
Jack dodged people as he walked
through the celebrating crowd. Prince
Lionel had been pronounced king, and celebration had begun. “Why do I feel so down?” Jack thought.
“This is what I wanted. This is
what I have waited, dreamed, and trained for, yet I feel empty.” The new kingdom had been set up in Tula since
the castle in Melkola was in ruins. He
hadn’t seen much of Turner since that day.
He had gone through the wreckage of the castle, searching and calling
her name.
“Kezia!” Turner
shouted. His voice broke. “Kezia.” He cried falling to his knees. Jack watched him. He didn’t know what to say or do. He went over to him, and helped him to his
feet. “I’m sorry was all he could muster
out.
Jack stepped into the
library, and sat down on one of the couches.
He had been placed back in his proper position, and had his old mansion
back, yet he felt empty. His mind
wandered. He felt numb, and unsure. He walked to the window. He stared down at the crowd.
Someone slipped their arm through his. “You always did steal away to the
library.” The voice whispered. Jack looked down at his side. He turned the woman so that he was fully facing
her. “Abigail?” He whispered in disbelief. He hugged her, embracing her. “I thought….”
He whispered.
“I know.” Abigail said.
“I’ve been in captivity this whole time.
I only was able to keep living at the thought of you.” Tears ran down her face.
Jack took her in his arms again. “Will you still marry me?”
“I will.” Abigail said
laughing softly. “I said I would before
the first war, and I intend to even after this war.”
********************
Kezia blinked. Nothing
around her seemed familiar. She was in a
strange room and bed. Someone stood up
and hovered over her. “He looks
familiar.” She thought. Her forehead scrunched up. “I can’t remember how, but I’ve seen him
before.” . She opened her mouth to speak.
The man hushed her.
“Save your breath. There’ll be
plenty of time for that later.” He said
shushing her. Kezia stared up at
him. “I can’t remember.” She thought frustrated. She felt strange. She couldn’t seem to move. She closed her eyes feeling extremely tired
all of the sudden.
